John Wycliffe Theological College is a ministry of the English Reformed Church. We are committed to the Westminster Standards and give thanks to God for the clear expression of biblical truth and the necessity for living in that light before God that is so wonderfully and pastorally expressed by our fathers in the faith. We are particularly grieved that so many in all day who claimed to hold to these standards do not do this in a consequential way - and in our training we try to give proper responses to the problems of our day, chief of which in our view is a pernicious  distortion of justifying faith. 

 

The support of this Church also means that we do not charge fees; we have not done so since we opened the doors in 1996. We do however require deposits for students who are studying formally through the College. We have had lots of informal students who have gladly attended our classes - because we believe that theology (the knowledge of God and all it implies) is for all the Lord’s people.
