College Registration and Opening 23 August 2025
Intensive Studies
We are very pleased to be offering this intensive full-time offering of classes this semester; we are very keen to prepare men to study at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
As we are sure you know, Greenville has agreed to provide full scholarships in the future to suitable men whom we believe are called to pastoral ministry. The Academy Phase of John Wycliffe exists primarily to give these students a foundation to pursue those studies effectively , and for our part we wish to send these students to Greenville for a whole semester to assist them in many ways.
There are 11 classes this semester. We hope our full-time students will register for all. It may look daunting, but quite a few are half-term courses, so we think it will be manageable. We will monitor it carefully and will explain everything in some detail at registration on Saturday 23rd August at 11am. Tea will be served from 10:30am.
Trustee Rodger Tewson will be preaching God's life-giving word on that occasion: "Your Rod and Your Staff"

2. The Westminster Confession on the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. (JWTC)
Registration for All
As you know, we believe theology is for every Christian, and many enjoy attending our lectures and classes; their participation and fellowship is appreciated. It has occurred that there will be benefit in registering you all for the lectures on an attendant basis – especially as they might move on to more formal studies in the future, that way classes that have been attended will not need to be re-attended.
August Conference - Community of Jesus
We met on Friday 15 August from 2-5pm and Saturday 16 from 9am to 12:30pm for a conference that John Wycliffe Theological College hosted for a group of churches: “The Community of Jesus”.
This is the fifth time we are did this – and it is a great privilege. The title was “God’s Messiah Revealed” and it was about the Lord Jesus – his person and his work. Brian McLean, Ben Bron and Jim Wright spoke.
